A refreshing and naturally sweet drink made with ripe watermelon and lime juice, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 4 cups cubed, seedless ripe watermelon
- 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey/agave nectar)
- 3 cups water
- 2–3 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- Fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- Blend the watermelon and 1-1/2 cups of the water, lime juice, and sugar at high speed until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a medium strainer into a large pitcher or bowl.
- Stir in the remaining 1-1/2 cups of water to dilute the mixture.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour in the watermelon agua fresca, garnishing with a mint sprig if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, use freshly squeezed lime juice and consider blending in other fruits like mango or pineapple for a tropical twist.
