Description

A refreshing summer drink made from pureed watermelon, lime, and sparkling water.


Ingredients

  • 8 cups watermelon, cubed and puréed
  • 4 cups sparkling water or tap water
  • 1 to 2 limes
  • Sugar to taste
  • Mint sprigs for serving

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or blender, whizz the watermelon to a purée.
  2. Strain the mixture into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  3. Add the sparkling water and stir gently to combine.
  4. Juice one lime into the pitcher, adjusting based on your preference.
  5. Taste the mixture and add additional lime juice if desired.
  6. Gradually add sugar if necessary, depending on the sweetness.
  7. Chill until ready to serve.
  8. When ready, place mint sprigs and ice in serving glasses, pour in the agua fresca, and enjoy!
