Description

A creamy, comforting dish featuring chicken breasts in a luscious sauce of sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and Parmesan, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  5. Add garlic, oregano, and thyme to the skillet; sauté for about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add the heavy cream and sun-dried tomatoes, stirring to combine.
  8. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until cooked through, about 5-10 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Rest the chicken after cooking for moist slices. Adjust sauce consistency with broth or cream if needed.
