- 4 tablespoons lemon curd (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Grease or line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, cooking until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix the browned butter with brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until combined.
- Stir in the dry ingredients until incorporated.
- Spread the blondie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the blondie crust.
- Drop spoonfuls of lemon curd across the cheesecake layer.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the curd into the batter.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until edges are set and the center jiggles slightly.
- Let cool in the oven with the door cracked for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before slicing.
