Ingredients

- 500g chicken tenderloin, cut into 4cm/1.5″ squares
- 4 tbsp Greek or plain yogurt
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp garlic, finely grated or crushed (~4 big cloves)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cooking salt
- 1 cup Greek yogurt, full fat
- 3/4 tsp garlic, finely grated or crushed (~1 clove)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp tahini or 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp+ water
- 1 tsp cooking salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil, for cooking
- 1 tsp parsley, roughly chopped
- Lemon wedges, for garnish
- Lebanese bread, for serving
Instructions
- Marinate chicken pieces in yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt for 30 minutes.
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat; cook chicken until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic.
- Serve chicken with sauce, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
Consider using a meat thermometer to check the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 75°C or 165°F.
