- 6 bags black tea
- 1/3 cup sugar, optional
Instructions
- Bring half of the water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add tea bags to the boiling water and remove from heat.
- Steep the tea bags for 10 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags from the water.
- Add sugar or sweetener, if desired, while the tea is still hot and stir until dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining cold water.
- Refrigerate until fully chilled, about 1 hour.
