Description

A quick side dish of frozen peas enhanced with garlic and butter, bringing comfort and flavor to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 50g / 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 500g / 1 lb frozen peas
  • 1/2 tsp cooking / kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until light golden.
  2. Add frozen peas, salt, pepper, and water. Turn heat up to medium high and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Tumble into a bowl and serve! Finish with a light grind of black pepper and a sprinkle of flaky salt if desired.
