Description

A refreshing homemade peach iced tea that captures the essence of summer with the sweetness of ripe peaches and the robust flavor of tea.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 2 large ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Blend sliced peaches and sugar until smooth.
  4. Strain the peach puree to remove solids if desired, making it smoother.
  5. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool completely.
  6. Combine the cooled tea and peach puree in a pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the peaches. Use fresh, ripe peaches for the best flavor.
