Ingredients

- 3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 cup carrot, finely shredded
- ½ cup mayonnaise or dressing
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- ½ tbsp cider vinegar
- 2 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp celery seeds
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients: mayonnaise, white vinegar, cider vinegar, sugar, celery seeds, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the finely shredded cabbage and carrots to the bowl with the dressing.
- Toss the cabbage and carrots until they are evenly coated with the dressing. Be sure every strand is nestled in that creamy goodness.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Once chilled, give the coleslaw a final toss and serve cold.
Notes
For best flavor, allow the coleslaw to chill for a few hours or prepare it a day in advance.
