Description

A vibrant and creamy coleslaw featuring crisp cabbage and sweet carrots, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup carrot, finely shredded
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or dressing
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • ½ tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp celery seeds
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients: mayonnaise, white vinegar, cider vinegar, sugar, celery seeds, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the finely shredded cabbage and carrots to the bowl with the dressing.
  3. Toss the cabbage and carrots until they are evenly coated with the dressing. Be sure every strand is nestled in that creamy goodness.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Once chilled, give the coleslaw a final toss and serve cold.

Notes

For best flavor, allow the coleslaw to chill for a few hours or prepare it a day in advance.
