Description

A refreshing summer salad made with crisp cucumbers, creamy sour cream, and fresh dill, perfect for warm weather gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large cucumbers
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill

Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice the cucumbers. Place them in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let them drain for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and dill.
  3. Pat the cucumbers dry with paper towels and add them to the dressing. Toss to coat.
  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Allowing the salad to chill for an adequate time helps meld the flavors together. Consider adding a dash of lemon juice for extra zing.
