Experience bold flavors with this easy-to-make Crockpot Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken served over perfectly cooked rice.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup rice (jasmine or basmati)
- 2 cups water or chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, sriracha, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken in the crockpot and pour the sauce over it.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add rice and water to the crockpot. Stir gently to combine.
- Once done, fluff the rice and serve the chicken over it.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a milder taste, reduce or omit the sriracha. Marinating the chicken overnight can enhance the flavors.
