Description
A comforting layered dish featuring cheese, ravioli, and seasoned ground beef, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Brown the meat: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat for a leaner dish.
- Add flavor: Stir in the pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Layer the ingredients: In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce across the bottom to prevent sticking.
- Add ravioli: Layer half of the frozen ravioli evenly over the sauce, ensuring they don’t overlap too much.
- Repeat: Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese, then add another layer of ravioli, followed by the rest of the meat sauce and cheeses.
- Slow cook: Cover and cook on low for 240-300 minutes until hot, bubbly, and the cheese is melted.
- Serve up: Serve hot and enjoy your comforting masterpiece with friends and family.
Notes
For a vegan option, substitute ground beef with lentils or mushrooms and use vegan cheese.
