Description

Tender BBQ chicken sandwiches made in a Crockpot with just five ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 46 chicken breasts (23 pounds)
  • 1 (12oz) bottle BBQ sauce
  • 3/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Sandwich buns
  • Prepackaged coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Place everything into your slow cooker (except the sandwich buns and coleslaw) and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until the chicken shreds very easily.
  2. Shred the chicken and mix it thoroughly in the sauce. Allow it to absorb the sauce for an additional 15+ minutes for maximum flavor.
  3. Serve on toasted buns, topped with coleslaw for that delightful crunch.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute chicken with jackfruit. Leftovers can be transformed into wraps or salads.
