Description

Flavorful comfort food sliders made with seasoned chicken, perfect for gatherings or cozy meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken (preferably thighs)
  • 1 envelope Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 envelope Au Jus Gravy Mix or Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1/4 cup butter (sliced)
  • 6 Pepperoncinis
  • Slider buns or Hawaiian Rolls

Instructions

  1. Lay chicken thighs in the bottom of your 4-quart slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle ranch dressing and gravy mixes on top.
  3. Place butter slices evenly across the top.
  4. Add pepperoncinis around the chicken.
  5. Cook on low for 240-300 minutes or high for 120-150 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. If desired, remove pepperoncinis before shredding. You can either shred the chicken directly in the crock pot with two forks or transfer it to a mixing bowl and use a mixer for about 20-30 seconds until shredded.
  7. Serve the shredded chicken on slider buns or Hawaiian rolls that have been cut in half.

Notes

For a make-ahead meal, prep the ingredients the night before and refrigerate. Cook when ready.
