Description

A comforting blend of rich sauce, tangy blue cheese, and tender steak stirred into pasta for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Remove steak and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in crumbled blue cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Add sliced steak on top.
  6. Serve and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a silky sauce, keep the heat moderate and stir often. Resting the steak helps retain juices.
