- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Start by chopping broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
- Season each chicken breast generously with salt and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Place the seasoned chicken in your crockpot, pouring the creamy mixture over the top, and give it a gentle stir.
- Add the chopped broccoli on top of the chicken and mix lightly.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- Just before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts.
