Description

A flavorful and easy-to-make BBQ chicken quesadilla that combines tender chicken, gooey cheese, and smoky BBQ sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar-jack cheese
  • 4 large tortillas
  • Butter (for cooking)
  • Optional toppings: diced onions, cilantro, sour cream, jalapeƱos

Instructions

  1. Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until fully coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese over it.
  4. Spread the BBQ chicken mixture on top of the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese.
  5. Place a second tortilla on top and cook until the bottom is golden brown.
  6. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before cutting into wedges.
  8. Serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For added flavor, let the BBQ chicken mixture marinate for at least 30 minutes before using. Customize with your favorite toppings.
