Description

A flavorful delight combining smoky BBQ sauce and melty cheese, perfect for casual dining.


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup shredded chicken
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ¼ red onion (thinly sliced)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chicken and barbecue sauce in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place one tortilla in the middle of the pan. Top with ¼ cup shredded cheese.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly on top of the cheese, leaving a ½ inch border around the tortilla.
  5. Next, add sliced onion and the remaining cheese. Place the second tortilla on top and lightly press down.
  6. Heat the tortilla on both sides for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the pan, cut into four slices, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with guacamole or salsa for added flavor.
