- 8 boneless chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup Master Piece barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: In a large bowl, combine boneless chicken thighs with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Make the sauce: In a small bowl, stir together BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and honey until well combined.
- Bake the chicken: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment. Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then remove and brush with the honey BBQ sauce. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes until caramelized and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- For extra char, broil on high for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely.
Notes
Pat thighs dry before seasoning for better browning. Use a wire rack for crisp bottoms. Rest the thighs for 5 minutes before serving.
