Description
Flavorful turkey cranberry sliders that blend savory turkey with sweet cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ pounds ground turkey
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (jellied or whole berry)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 slider buns
- Fresh spinach or arugula, for topping
- Optional: sliced cheese, such as cheddar or provolone
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients including ground turkey, cranberry sauce, and slider buns.
- Mix the Turkey Filling: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended but be careful not to overwork the meat.
- Form the Sliders: Shape the turkey mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. You should get approximately 12 sliders.
- Cook the Sliders: Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with cooking spray or olive oil, and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. Spread cranberry sauce on the bottom half, place a turkey patty on top, add spinach or arugula, and top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve Warm or Cold: Arrange your sliders on a platter and enjoy them while they’re warm, or make them ahead and refrigerate for a refreshing meal later!
Notes
For a smoky flavor, try grilling the sliders, and keep them warm in a slow cooker for a party. Customize toppings to guest preferences!
