Description

Delicious turkey cranberry brie panini brings together juicy turkey, rich brie, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce in a crispy sandwich. Perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices ciabatta, sliced 1/2 inch thick
  • 8 ounces brie, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup prepared cranberry sauce
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
  • 8 thin slices turkey
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each slice of ciabatta.
  2. Add 2 slices of turkey, followed by 2 ounces of brie, thin apple slices, and cranberry sauce on each slice of bread.
  3. Top with the remaining slices of ciabatta, buttered side facing out and press down gently.
  4. Grill on a medium heat pan, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Alternatively, use a panini press and cook each sandwich for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Prepare cranberry sauce by boiling fresh cranberries, sugar, water, cinnamon sticks, and orange zest, simmering until cranberries burst for 10-15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving.

Notes

For a variation, use plant-based cream cheese and grilled veggies for a vegan option. Avoid burning by monitoring cooking times closely.
