Description
A flavor-packed and impressive stuffed chicken breast recipe featuring a creamy cheese and spinach filling.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the chopped spinach, softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Carefully cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being cautious not to cut all the way through.
- Spoon the spinach mixture evenly into the pockets of each chicken breast.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the stuffed chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until they’re golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) before removing it from the oven.
- Allow the stuffed chicken to rest for a few minutes. Slice, serve, and relish in the moment!
Notes
Letting the chicken rest after baking helps retain juices, preventing dryness upon slicing. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking.
