Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your bundt pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in buttermilk and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend. Ensure your ingredients are at room temperature for an even bake.
