- 1 1/2 cups sourdough starter (discard)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter, all-purpose flour, salt, and water. Stir until a shaggy dough begins to form.
- Lightly flour your countertop and knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Add more flour if it’s too sticky.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 1 hour at room temperature, or refrigerate it overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the surface with olive oil, add toppings, and bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
