  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups sliced potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients to ensure everything is ready for a seamless cooking experience.
  2. Dice the onion and mince the garlic uniformly.
  3. Thoroughly rinse and drain the canned beans to remove excess sodium.
  4. Brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  5. Layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker, followed by the browned beef, onion, garlic, kidney beans, corn, and diced tomatoes.
