Instructions
- Combine the flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl and whisk together until well-blended.
- Pour in the warm water, stirring with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough starts to form.
- Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 8-18 hours.
- Line a 6-quart slow cooker with parchment paper.
- Flour your work surface and turn out the dough, shaping it into a round by flattening it into a 9-inch circle and folding over the edges.
- Place the dough ball into the prepared slow cooker. Cover it with a paper towel underneath the lid and cook on high for about 2 hours.
- Lift the bread out using the parchment paper. For a crispy crust, place it under the broiler for 5 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
