- 1 packet (about 1 ounce) dry ranch dressing mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 minced cloves fresh garlic)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and ensure your crockpot is clean.
- Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. If preferred, cut them into smaller chunks.
- In a separate bowl, combine the dry ranch dressing mix with garlic powder.
- Layer the ingredients in the crockpot: start with the chicken, followed by cream cheese spread evenly on top.
- Sprinkle the garlic-ranch seasoning mix over the cream cheese and chicken.
- Pour chicken broth evenly across the top.
- Set the crockpot on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, ensure the chicken’s internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C) before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, use Neufchâtel cheese or a vegan alternative. Feel free to add vegetables for a complete meal.
