Description

A simple and flavorful cheese quesadilla made using an air fryer or stovetop, perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8-inch) tortilla
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt completely.
  3. Place the tortilla in the buttered skillet, coating one side evenly.
  4. Sprinkle both the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over half of the tortilla.
  5. Cook until the cheese starts to melt (about 1-2 minutes).
  6. Carefully fold the tortilla in half using a spatula.
  7. Cook for another 1-2 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  8. For air fryer option: Brush the outside with butter, fold with cheese inside, secure with a toothpick, and air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Notes

For a crispier texture, consider cooking in a panini press. Use fresh tortillas for the best texture.
