Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp low sodium Tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp white miso
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Toast sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until golden and fragrant (about 5-7 minutes). Set aside to cool.
  2. Julienne the carrots using a sharp knife or a food processor, then place them in a large mixing bowl for easy tossing.
  3. Add the finely chopped scallions, cilantro, and basil to the carrots; gently toss to combine for an even distribution of flavors.
  4. Combine the dressing ingredients in a blender or food processor; blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the dressing over the carrot mixture; toss to ensure each piece is evenly coated.
  6. Chill for at least one hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes
