  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Optional: In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle olive oil and sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. In your crockpot, combine cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot, ensuring they’re coated in the creamy sauce.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks, mixing it with the creamy sauce.
  6. Stir in the sour cream for extra creaminess. If using, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt, garnished with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute chicken with chickpeas or jackfruit, and use a plant-based cream soup.
