  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear each chicken breast for about 2–3 minutes on both sides until golden brown.
  2. In the crock pot, combine cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until creamy and smooth.
  3. Place the seared (or raw) chicken breasts into the sauce, ensuring they are covered.
  4. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is fork-tender.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot using two forks, mixing it into the creamy sauce.
  6. Stir in sour cream and optionally sprinkle with shredded cheese. Allow cheese to melt for a few minutes with the lid on.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
