A bright and buttery baked salmon dish infused with lemon and garlic, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets, skin removed (about 24oz / 680g)
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (or 2 teaspoons dried)
- 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 lemon slices (optional, for topping)
- Extra herbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, aluminum foil, or a silicone baking mat.
- Arrange salmon fillets evenly spaced in the middle of the pan.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with olive oil. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets. If desired, place a lemon slice on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. For even cooking, let fillets sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before baking.
