  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 (3-ounce) packages instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 cup matchstick carrots
  • Thinly sliced scallions, for garnish
  • Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a Dutch oven, heat over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the sliced cabbage, red bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté until the veggies soften, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken stock, followed by soy sauce and hoisin sauce. Bring to a rolling boil.
  4. Add the ramen noodles to the pot, ensuring they’re well submerged in the broth. Reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the noodles are tender.
