- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup French fried onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice or pasta (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine in a large mixing bowl the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Add cooked rice or pasta to the mixture if using, and stir.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by the French fried onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For an even creamier dish, consider adding extra sour cream or a splash of cream.
