Description
Million Dollar Boat Dip is a creamy, cheesy, bacon-filled summer appetizer that comes together in minutes. Perfect for lake days, parties, and picnics, this cold dip tastes rich and refreshing and always disappears fast.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup real bacon bits
- 8–10 chives, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Ritz crackers or chips for serving
Instructions
1. Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, bacon bits, chives, and garlic powder.
3. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the flavors can develop.
5. Serve chilled with Ritz crackers, pretzels, or vegetables.
Notes
For the smoothest texture, be sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
You can substitute green onions for chives or add diced jalapeños for a spicy twist.
Keep the dip cold if serving outdoors.
Best made ahead and chilled for at least an hour before serving.
