Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the salmon fillets for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden.
4. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, Dijon mustard, parsley, dill, and garlic.
5. Pour the cream mixture over the salmon in the skillet.
6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
7. Serve warm, drizzled with the creamy herb sauce and garnished with fresh herbs or lemon slices.
Notes
Tip: Use skin-on salmon for extra flavor and to prevent sticking.
You can make the sauce ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
For a lighter version, replace heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream.
Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice for a complete meal.
