Description
A rich and creamy chicken dish with sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasonings, perfect for impressing loved ones.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes, fresh spinach, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until warm and spinach wilts.
- Return the seared chicken to the skillet and simmer in the creamy sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Plate chicken over pasta or rice, drizzle with sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavor profiles.
