- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In one dish, combine breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan, and all seasonings.
- In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk until blended.
- Place flour in a third dish. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg mixture, and coat with the breadcrumb mix.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic. Top the chicken with this cheesy mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor. Consider experimenting with different cheeses or adding spices for a kick.
