Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In one dish, combine breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan, and all seasonings.
  3. In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk until blended.
  4. Place flour in a third dish. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg mixture, and coat with the breadcrumb mix.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic. Top the chicken with this cheesy mixture.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor. Consider experimenting with different cheeses or adding spices for a kick.
