- 2 chicken breasts
- 200g pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
- In the same skillet, add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
- Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute olive oil for butter. This dish can easily be reheated and enjoyed as leftovers.
