Description

A bright and zesty dish featuring flaky white fish infused with lemon and garlic, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets White fish (like cod or tilapia)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves Garlic (finely minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 lemon Lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking dish with parchment or lightly oil it.
  2. Pat the fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Whisk together fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until emulsified.
  4. Place the fillets in a single layer in the prepared dish and spoon the lemon garlic mixture evenly over each fillet.
  5. Scatter chopped parsley over the fillets and arrange lemon slices on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Broil for 1-2 minutes for a light golden finish, watching closely.
  8. Let the fillets rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter alternative, consider using tofu instead of fish. Adjust the garlic for milder flavors if necessary.
