- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over all sides of the chicken.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the chicken broth around the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2.5 to 3.5 hours, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing or shredding.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken with the spice blend for a few hours or overnight before cooking. Leftovers can be used for salads, wraps, or sandwiches.
