Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey or chicken
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground turkey or chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to break up the meat as it cooks for even browning.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage and carrots, and cook until the vegetables are tender but still crisp, around 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and mix well to coat the meat and veggies evenly.
  6. Add the sliced green onions, and season with salt and pepper to taste; stir to combine.
