Description

A delightful and guilt-free treat made with wholesome ingredients that combine almond flour, nut butter, and chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cashew butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Flaky sea salt, optional

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cashew butter, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until everything is well blended and a dough forms.
  2. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  3. Prepare a cutting board or large plate with parchment paper. Transfer the cookie dough to the parchment and press down using a silicone spatula or your hands until the mixture is about 1/2-inch thick.
  4. In a separate small bowl, place 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over your pressed cookie dough, spreading it evenly. Optionally, sprinkle some flaky sea salt over the top for a sweet and salty contrast.
  6. Place your cookie dough bark in the freezer for approximately 10 minutes to firm up. Once set, remove it and cut into generous chunks. Enjoy your delightful Healthy Cookie Dough Bark!
