- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Glaze or chocolate shell for topping
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, crushed gingerbread cookies, cooled brewed coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves.
- Stir in the bloomed gelatin and melted chocolate until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.
- Fill silicone or dome molds with the mousse mixture and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Once set, carefully unmold the domes and drizzle with a glaze or chocolate shell.
- Serve cold and enjoy.
