- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white distilled vinegar

- 6 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp red chili pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized cubes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, paprika, and garlic salt.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the coated chicken in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes; drain on paper towels.
- In another bowl, combine sugar, water, vinegar, soy sauce, and salt, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet over medium heat, stir, and bring to a simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
- Serve hot over rice or steamed broccoli.
