Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the melted butter, minced garlic, and the frothy yeast mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough, divide it into 12 pieces, and shape them into rolls.
  8. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and allow them to rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
