Description

Indulge in creamy garlic butter alfredo steak pasta that harmonizes rich flavors and textures, perfect for a cozy meal or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or filet)
  • 8 ounces shell pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water if needed.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, add to the skillet, and sear for 3-5 minutes per side. Remove and let rest.
  3. Add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Mix in the cooked shell pasta to coat with the sauce, then slice the rested steak and layer on top.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Use high-quality steak for maximum flavor. Allow steak to rest after cooking to retain juices.
