- 3 cups cubed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish and spread evenly.
- If desired, sprinkle crushed cornflakes on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are fork-tender.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute crushed cornflakes with crushed corn tortilla chips.
