Description

A heartwarming dish of crispy potatoes layered with cheese and garlic, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cubed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. If desired, sprinkle crushed cornflakes on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are fork-tender.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
