Description

Fried Pickle Ranch Dip is everything you love about fried pickles in one creamy, addictive dip! Tangy dill pickles, homemade ranch seasoning, cream cheese, sour cream, and toasted panko breadcrumbs come together for the ultimate party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 12 ounces whipped cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped, plus more for garnish
  • 3 tablespoons ranch seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, freshly grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely snipped, plus more for garnish
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (from 1/2 a lemon), freshly squeezed

Instructions

1. Toast the Panko: Add panko to a dry skillet and heat on medium-low. Stir occasionally until golden brown, then remove from heat and cool. Reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish.

2. Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese, sour cream, pickles, ranch seasoning, garlic, dill, chives, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

3. Add Lemon Juice: Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and mix until fully combined.

4. Fold in Toasted Panko: Add the toasted panko, reserving some for garnish, and stir until incorporated.

5. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight so the flavors can develop.

6. Serve: Spoon into a shallow bowl and top with reserved pickles, toasted panko, and herbs. Serve with chips, pretzels, or veggies.

Notes

This dip is a crowd-pleaser! For a twist, add chopped bacon, diced jalapeños, or swap sour cream for Greek yogurt. Best served chilled with crunchy dippers or as a sandwich spread.
