Description

A creamy and delicious Southern creamed corn recipe that brings warmth and joy to every meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 cans of Corn (15 oz cans), drained
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter, cut into thin slices
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, place the drained corn, milk, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well to evenly combine.
  2. Add the cream cheese cubes and butter slices to the saucepan with the corn mixture.
  3. Heat over medium-high, stirring frequently until the cream cheese and butter melt into a smooth, creamy consistency.
  4. Remove from heat and serve warm, optionally adding a sprinkle of fresh cracked pepper.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, simmer longer and add extra milk if necessary. Adjust seasoning to taste.
